He'd put off making a decision.
What did Katsuya think would change in the time he waited? His brother wasn't coming back. His job was more of the same. And his personal life...as devoid as it had been. At this rate, he was making excuses to not do something that would give him happiness.
But Radio had kept offering. Kept insisting she was sincere about the opportunity. And the prospect was thrilling. Opening a bakery in the Nexus? Being able to do what he loved daily? Why would he not want to? Other than the cynicism that something was bound to go wrong because these things never work out for him, that is.
He's wanted to say yes since the moment Radio offered. So he sends her a text, finally. It's simple, short, and concise.
If the offer is still open, I am interested.

"I...honestly hadn't thought about it." At all. He blinks rapidly. "It would need to be catching, wouldn't it? To draw customers?"

"And I don't think it would be out of line for it to have your name in the title, or someplace important to you. Now, I know this is a scary suggestion, but bear with me here... Think about yourself. Think about some thing, some place, or some person that means something to you... And we'll see if we can't make an inspired name out of that. If nothing else, a working title."

"I don't really need my name in it.." Katsuya frowns thoughtfully. Something important to him. Well, that's easy, really. "I'd like to invoke the idea of family or friendship. Those kinds of special bonds. You know? That's...more than anything else. That's what's important to me."

"Oh!" she suddenly exclaims, and with it comes the Grinchiest of grins. She points a finger toward the sky and says, "We'll open the bakery without a name and convince people to come in by letting them suggest a name! After they've bought something, of course. One pastry, one entry. It's community-building, Katsuya! Simple customer relations. People. Will. Love it.
"But what do you think about it?"

"I think as long as no one tries to name it something childishly inappropriate it's a wonderful idea."

Couldn't resist
